Running & Walking Awards
61 people met at the Bayocean Spit Saturday, August 16th to participate in the 7th Annual 2008 Tillamook Bay Run put on by the Tillamook Area Chamber of Commerce. The weather was mild with early morning fog but participants were not detoured in their determination to get out, breathe the salt air and enjoy the beautiful terrain of the Oregon Coast. This year, several members of the Forest Grove (High School) Track Team made the trek to Tillamook to compete as well as a team of fourteen walkers from TLC Federal Credit Union. We even had one participant from as far away as London, England.
